    Shootout in Papua, 9 KKB Members Declared Dead

    The Task Force claimed that nine members of the KKB were killed in a shootout that took place around the KKB headquarters in Olenski, Ilaga Utara District, Puncak Regency.

    "It is true from the reports received that nine members of the KKB were shot dead," said Head of the Nemangkawi Public Relations Task Force, Kombes Pol. Iqbal Al Qupdusy in Jayapura, on Wednesday (28/4).

    In his statement, the Head of the Nemangkawi Public Relations Task Force said that his party could not confirm the identity of the KKB members who died because members of the TNI / Polri were still trying to reach the group headquarters.
