    There is an Artifact Exhibition of the Prophet Muhammad SAW at JIC

    BERITA BARU ■ The exhibition of artifacts of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his friends was held at the Jakarta Islamic Center (JIC) Convention Hall, Jl Kramat Jaya Raya, Tugu Utara Village, Koja, North Jakarta. It is planned that the exhibition will take place from Friday (23/4) to May 3, 2021.

    Assistant for Administration and People's Welfare for the Secretary of the City of North Jakarta, Wawan Budi Rohman, said that this exhibition was very important and beneficial for the Indonesian people, especially Muslims, to get to know the figure of the Prophet Muhammad and his friends.

    "The main goal is that the public can know and imitate the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions. Then inspire such examples and apply them in everyday life," said Wawan, after opening the exhibition, Friday (23/4).

    Wawan invited all residents of DKI Jakarta, especially North Jakarta to visit the exhibition of artifacts of the Prophet Muhammad and his friends in this holy month of Ramadan. He appealed to the public who came to adhere to and implement COVID-19 health protocols, such as wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance and avoiding crowds.

    "Health protocol remains the main key to preventing the spread of COVID-19 in various activities and it must be obeyed by all," he ordered.

    At the Artifact Exhibition of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and Friends, various relics of the Prophet Muhammad SAW were displayed such as sticks, swords, arrows, kiswah, turban, beard, hair, keys to the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad and so on.

    Meanwhile, the Head of the Exhibition Organizer, Muhammad Rifqi explained, as many as 35 types of relics of the Prophet Muhammad SAW were displayed in this exhibition. Not only war equipment but also the kiswah of Rasulullah SAW's grave, the Ka'bah of the Usmani era, keys to the tomb of Rasulullah SAW, turban, sticks, footprints, sandals, and so on were also presented.

    "For the general public, please attend because this is an extraordinary opportunity. With a value of Rp. 50 thousand as donations to protect and care for it. Make this all good and sincere intention to preserve it," he said.

    He added that by holding the exhibition, it is hoped that it can inspire Muslims to practice the example of the Prophet Muhammad in their daily life.

    "The existence of relics of the Prophet Muhammad SAW can increase the value of worship and increase love for the Prophet Muhammad," he said. (**)
