    Face-to-Face Learning, Anies Baswedan Prioritizes Child Safety

    NEW NEWS ■ The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, through the Education Office, has just finished conducting trials of face-to-face learning schools (PTM).

    According to DKI Governor Anies Baswedan, the PTM trial was conducted to find out the best formula that could be applied in the next face-to-face school policy.

    "From there, we can later compile the appropriate SOP according to the conditions in Jakarta," said Anies after attending the National Education Day at the DKI Jakarta Education Agency Building, on Sunday (2/5).

    The former Minister of Education and Culture stated that in deciding face-to-face school policies, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government based on facts and studies in the field.

    "Starting from the children leaving home until the children return home. So it is not just a review when they are in the classroom," he explained.

    "We want everyone to be aware, number one is the safety of children, number two is the safety of our children, number three is the safety of our children. That is the priority," said Anies Baswedan.

    Previously, as many as 85 schools from all levels of education participated in face-to-face trials. In the face-to-face trial scheme, students at each level of school learn face-to-face in turn.

    This face-to-face learning trial (PTM) has been going on from Wednesday, April 7, 2021 to April 29, 2021.
